Wapiti is a Minnesota Local Elk Farm that is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business. The farm combined science-based research with the healing properties of nature and created their Elk Velvet Antler Supplements.
The previous version of Wapiti’s website lacked accessibility for all users and the customer shopping experience was disorganized. Basic accessibility flaws and problems with color contrast made it challenging to interact with the brand.
We implemented product categorization, product education, and website-wide emphasis on their brand and mission to address these problems. The best user experience would result from making appropriate categories because there were numerous users to consider. Some customers might be buying items for themselves or their pets. There is also the case of the wholesaler customer, who uses a totally different purchasing strategy.
